A not-for-profit village owned and run venture providing a shop, cafe and takeaway service.
Placement is working in a small retail/café environment. Meeting & greeting customers, taking orders and serving. Stock replenishment/rotation as required.
Duties/Responsibilities
Serving customers in the shop & café
Stocking shelves & stock rotation
Cleaning tables & kitchen as required
Learning to use the till and take payments
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Personal Qualities
No previous experience required however the following personal qualities are necessary
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work as part of a team with staff and volunteers
Able to work unsupervised
Cheerful nature
Honest & reliable
