Four Paws Inn provides all-inclusive doggy daycare (9am – 5pm daily) and all-inclusive kennel boarding. Four Paws Inn are seeking caring, motivated, team players who have a clear and natural affinity for dogs. This placement will provide an opportunity to develop the skills to work with animals, providing all aspects of animal care including supervising and socialising animals, feeding, cleaning up, as well as customer service skills.
Duties/Responsibilities
Roles include imaginative play and caring for a number of dogs of all breeds and temperament. Work is primarily outside in custom build doggie friendly paddocks as well as undercover lounge areas.
Assist with collection and drop off of dogs at beginning and end of the day
Be professional and polite with customers.
Supervising, playing and reassure groups of sociable dogs.
Clean up where required.
Keep a basic picture/video diary of daily activities.
Assist with feeding dogs at feed times.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Personal Qualities
The ideal applicant will love dogs and be able to take great pride in making their days as fun and enjoyable as possible. Full clean driving license desirable
Ability to follow instructions and follow a strict daily schedule
Training will be provided for this role
Must love dogs and be enthusiastic towards working primarily outside.
Good customer service skills
Professional and polite
Use initiative
This role is primarily working outdoors in various weather conditions.
