Data Input Assistant – Engineering Department -Llangollen Railway Trust Location: Engineering Office, Llangollen Hours: 25 hours per week, for 8 weeks (flexible – to be discussed at interview) Closing Date: 21st June 2025 Start Date: 1st July 2025 Salary: National Minimum Wage (depending on age) Are you detail-focused, organised, and confident using Microsoft Office? We’re looking for a Data Input Assistant to support our busy Engineering and Operations Departments at Llangollen Railway Trust. This behind-the-scenes role is perfect for someone who enjoys structured tasks, working independently, and helping things run smoothly. What you’ll be doing: • Reformatting and updating key documents using Microsoft Word and Excel • Inputting data accurately to support engineering and operational records • Assisting with internal document control and admin organisation • Supporting the wider team with routine digital admin tasks About you: • Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word to a good standard • Excellent attention to detail and accurate typing skills • Able to work independently with minimal supervision • Organized, methodical, and reliable • No public-facing duties – ideal for those who prefer focused, desk-based work This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in a heritage railway environment while supporting vital departments behind the scenes. | |
