To work with teachers as part of a professional team to support teaching and learning for pupils. The objective of this role is to maximize each student’s potential under the direction of the lead teacher.
Duties/Responsibilities
Implement planned learning activities /teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher.Participate in planning and evaluation of learning activities with the teacher, providing feedback to the teacher on pupil progress and behaviorUpdate pupil recordsAssistant with break-time supervision including facilitating games and activitiesCarry out Teaching assistant duties such as listening to children read, supervise children within classroom and outside, work with individual/group of children [all under direction of teacher]Accompany staff and pupils on tripsGain insight into everyday work within schools
