| Duties/Responsibilities | |
| We have a position in our sign making factory for one experienced, or suitably apt trainee, to work with our digital printing teams, alongside our manufacturing, installation and packing departments. The successful applicant will initially work as part of an experienced digital-printing team. The applicant should be computer literate and preferably have experience in the sign-making industry, but this is not essential as training can be provided. There will be some manual handling involved on a day-to-day basis (moving large sheets or rolls of media), along with the possibility of some occasional work at height from ladders or scaffolding when aiding our sign installers, although not in the first instance. The work involves working with large format printing equipment such as flat-bed printers and roll-to-roll machines producing high quality printed output. | |
| Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Personal Qualities | |
| A clean and methodical work ethic will be required to be successful in our organisation. Attention to detail, consistency of work at a high standard, good timekeeping, and a conscientious attitude is a pre-requisite for this job. The position will require the successful applicant to be adaptable and to help out in all departments wherever necessary. There may be some installation work which will take place outside of the factory and will involve all aspects of the sign installation process. A full driving license is preferable but not essential. | |
