Summary of Work Start Scheme Placement Opportunity
Great opportunity at café Cariad hospice based with seating for 38. Open 7 days a week from 10am-4pm with a variety of home cooked foods and refreshments. There is no cooking or food preparation for this post. Uniform provided and free parking if required.
Duties/Responsibilities
To provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers
To assist chefs and front of house café team in day to day running of the café
To ensure tables and surrounding areas are clean and tidy
To take orders and undertake serving food and drinks
To load and unload the 3 min dishwasher
To be familiar with the fire instructions and follow any required procedures

Excellent organisational skills
Willingness to complete mandatory training
Accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication skills
Flexible approach to working
Tact and diplomacy in dealing with a variety of situations
Use own initiative and good understanding of equality and diversity
