Summary of Work Start Scheme Placement Opportunity
 
 
A great opportunity to experience being part of a fantastic team at café Cariad.
 
To assist the catering team, maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
 
This is a hospice based café with seating for 38 and is open 7
Days a week from 10am-4pm.
 
Tasty home-cooked varied food and a variety of refreshments are served.
 
Please note there is no cooking or food preparation required with this role.
 
Free on-site parking provided if required and uniform.
 
 
Duties/Responsibilities
General pot washing duties by hand or using dishwasher
Restocking cutlery and crockery shelves
Maintaining high standards of cleaning
Comply with food hygiene and safety requirements
Report all near misses, accidents and incidents

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Personal Qualities
Cleaning
Team work
Any catering experience would be beneficial however not necessary
Some understanding of health and safety
Polite and well presented
Good personal skills being able to also work independently
 
Special Working Conditions
 
To work within the policies of the hospice and within care standards at all times. Full support will be provided.
