Description: This one-day course is designed for people who want to receive training and a qualification in emergency first aid. It is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments, such as small offices, hospitality locations and retail to name a few.
What to Expect: We will teach you about the law relevant to first aid, making you familiar with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations, before moving on to teach you about how to manage an incident and treat bleeding, burns, choking and shock. You will also learn about how to deal with an unconscious casualty, including how to put them into the recovery position and how to give CPR. The course covers first aid protocols for adult casualties only.
